With Amotai registration, Mil-tek affirms its commitment to supporting Māori and Pasifika businesses in New Zealand.
Since - and even before - the government announced the mandate to provide more opportunities to Māori businesses, agencies like Amotai have been striving relentlessly to ensure exactly that.
Established in 2018, Amotai is Aotearoa's supplier diversity intermediary tasked with connecting Māori and Pasifika-owned businesses with buyers wanting to purchase goods, services and works. Amotai verifies Māori and Pasifika-owned businesses and holds a national database of Māori and Pasifika-owned companies that are ready for work.
Mil-tek is a proud supporter of this initiative and affirmed this support with Amotai registration and accreditation.
Mil-tek NZ Director Rod ENOKA has this to say:
"We see this as a great way to ensure a steady and fair supply of opportunities to Māori and Pasifika businesses. We have long promoted sustainable solutions for waste handling in order to establish a circular economy. Diversity is vital, and it feeds into this as well - providing a fair and straightforward way to supercharge the economy. We are delighted to be a part of this fantastic initiative."
