2306 Plastic & Cardboard Baler

2306 Plastic & Cardboard Baler

Ideal for businesses with medium-to-large volumes of cardboard and plastic waste, the Mil-tek 2306 features two powerful pressing cylinders creating denser and heavier bales that can fit neatly onto a standard size pallet.
  • Bale palstic (250kg), cardboard (200kg) and other material
  • Wide door, large vertical chamber
  • New EN16500 safety features
  • Faster pressing cycle, bale-out indicator and cycle counter
  • Automated baleout release

    Product Overview

With a floorspace footprint of less than 1m², the Mil-tek 2306 baler can create large bales of to 250kg (plastic) and 200kg (cardboard). The 2306 features a wide door-opening and larger chamber, allowing users to load large bags of plastic or large cardboard boxes whole. Loading whole cardboard boxes eliminates the need for flat packing and regular trips to outside bins/skips. The 2306 baler features ECODrive pneumatic technology which only use the required amount of power with each cycle. Furthermore, pneumatic technology locks the pressing plate in place without further use of power allowing you to create extremely dense, compacted bales with relatively little energy used.Boasting industry-leading EN16500 safety standards, the 2306 now features a bale-out indicator, a cycle counter, an automated bale-out release as well as further internal upgrades. The two-handed bale-out release safely unloads bales from the machine onto a standard pallet making them easy to store and transport.

    • How do I decide which Mil-tek machine is best suited to my business?

Trust an expert! A Mil-tek consultant will analyse your business and operating procedures to better understand how you manage your waste. It isn't simply a question of volume, it's about finding a solution that works for your business on mulitple levels.

    • What kind of training do my staff require to operate a Mil-tek machine?

Mil-tek machines are designed with safety and simplicity to the fore.

A qualified Mil-tek technician is deployed to train key staff member in the operation and care of the machine. Trained staff are then capable of training other staff in turn.

In addition, Mil-tek provides a wealth of user guides and training videos to ensure all staff should be able to safely operate the machine, as well as bale out, change banding and prepare for a new bale.

    • Is the 2306 Baler compliant with EN16500 safety standards?

Yes it is. Over the past number of years Mil-tek have been a part of a Health and Safety Executive committee that has been committed to creating new improved standards for the safe use of vertical balers. As a result we have made a significant number of improvements to the model 2306 in order to comply with EN16500 standards and to ensure safe use for the end-user. For more information please visit www.mil-tek.com/EN16500

    • Does the machine have electrical requirements?

No, the Mil-tek 2306 is pneumatic. For businesses with an existing compressed air supply, it's simply a case of plug-and-play. Otherwise, a suitable compressor will be provided to feed the machine. All compressors are standard AC outlets, i.e. not a 3-phase, thus avoiding any expensive electrician-related cost.
