2305 Cardboard & Plastic Baler

2305 Cardboard & Plastic Baler

Fully compliant with EN16500 standards, the new Mil-tek 2305 baler is ideal for businesses and organisations with medium to large volumes of cardboard and plastic waste. It is easy to use with a simple automated bale-out mechanism.
  • Wide door, deep vertical chamber
  • Bale palstic (180kg), cardboard (100kg) and other material
  • Small ergonomic floorspace footprint
  • New EN16500 safety features
  • Faster pressing cycle, bale-out indicator and cycle counter

    Product Overview

Featuring a floorspace footprint of less than 56 cm², the 2305 baler is small in size but packs a heavy punch: it can create bales of to 180kg (plastic) and 100kg (cardboard).A deep pressing chamber and wide door-opening allows users to load large bags or bundles of loose plastic or whole cardboard boxes. As with all Mil-tek EN16500 balers, the 2305 is pneumatically powered, and therefore uses a minimal amount use of energy with each cycle.ECO-Drive pneumatic technology evenly disitributes power usage, meaning the machine only uses as much power as is needed with each pressing cycle. In addition, ECO-Drive locks the pressing plate in places, applying constant downward pressure without the further use of energy. These features allow the 2305 baler to create extremely dense, compacted bales. The combination of small size, flexibility and pneumatic technology means that the 2305 baler is used by a range of businesses. Improved to meet new EN16500 safety standards, the 2305 now features a bale-out indicator, a cycle counter, a lock-out switch as well as further internal performance upgrades.

    • How do I decide which size Mil-tek machine suits best?

Ask an expert! A Mil-tek consultant will analyse your operation to better understand your business and how you manage your waste. It isn't simply about volume, it's about finding a solution that works for your business on mulitple levels.

    • What kind of training do my staff require to operate a Mil-tek machine?

Mil-tek machines are designed with safety and simplicity to the fore.

A qualified Mil-tek technician is deployed to train key staff member in the operation and care of the machine. Trained staff are then capable of training other staff in turn.

In addition, Mil-tek provides a wealth of user guides and training videos to ensure all staff should be able to safely operate the machine, as well as bale out, change banding and prepare for a new bale.

    • Is the 2305 Baler compliant with EN16500 safety standards?

Yes it is. Over the past number of years Mil-tek have been a part of a Health and Safety Executive committee that has been committed to creating new improved standards for the safe use of vertical balers. As a result we have made a significant number of improvements to the model 2305 in order to comply with EN16500 standards and to ensure safe use for the end-user. • Should boxes be flat-packed before putting in the machine?

No. It's not necessary. Users will waste huge amounts of time flat-packing boxes, and risk minor injuries such as paper-cuts. Further to this, the machine will compact boxes much more densely than flat-packing allows, making the process wholly unnecessary.

    Mil-tek 2305 Baler in Retail

The small floorspace footprint of just 56cm² means that the 2305 is well suited to small, compact locations such retail stock rooms or unpacking areas. By compacting waste plastic and cardboard at source instead of storing it or carrying it outside, staff spend less time away from their core duties.

The 2305 is also ideal for baling the kind of loose plastic packaging that is often used in transporting retail goods. The low-energy, onstant pressure of the ECO-Drive technology ensures an extremely dense bale is produced.

Despite its small footprint, the 2305 baler has a large door opening and a deep chamber, enabling whole boxes or large bundles and bags of plastic to be placed directly into the baler.

Plastic bag stands placed alongside 2305 balers allows for the neat storage of one material while another is being baled.
